14U14 years old as of July 1st of current year. Max Weight: UNLIMITED Field Length: 100 yards Game time: (2) 20 minute half's with running clock. 3 timeouts per half, each team. Teams will only switch sides of the field at half time. Game ball: TDS football. One will be provided by Tournament officials if you don’t have one. FHSAA SCORING, BLOCKING AND TACKLING.

12U12 years old as of July 1st of current year. Max Weight: UNLIMITED. Field length: 100 yards Game time: (2) 20 minute half's with running clock. 3 timeouts per half, each team. Teams will only switch sides of the field at half time. Game ball: TDY football. One will be provided by Tournament officials if you do not have one. FHSAA RULES ON BLOCKING AND TACKLING.

10U10 years old as of July 1st of current year. Max Weight: UNLIMITED Field length: 100 yards Game time: (2) 20 minute half's with running clock. 3 timeouts per half, each team. Teams will only switch sides of the field at half time. Game ball: TDJ football. Ball will be provided by Tournament officials if you do not have one. BLITZING IS ALLOWED.

8U8 years old as of July 1st of current year Max Weight: UNLIMITED Field length: 100 yards Game time: (2) 20 minute half's with running clock. 3 timeouts per half, each team. Teams will only switch sides of the field at half time. Game ball: K-2 football. Ball will be provided by Tournament officials if you do not have one. Nose guards are in full effect, but must be in 3-point or 4-point stance. NO BLITZING (REFEREE DISCRETION) All linemen from tackle to tackle must be in a 3 or 4 point stance. Linebackers must line up 2 yards from the point of the football. Crossing this barrier before the ball is snapped will result in a 5-yard penalty. Delay of game NO COACHES ON THE FIELD.

6U6 years old as of July 1st of current year. Max Weight: UNLIMITED Field length: 100 yards; Ball will be spotted at the 25yd line to start an opening drive. (i.e. Start of each half or after a touchdown) Game time: (2) 20 minute half's with running clock. 3 timeouts per half, each team. Game allowance 60 minutes. Teams will only switch sides of the field at half time. Game ball: K-2 ball will be provided by Tournament officials if you do not have one. 1st Down: 4 downs/10 yards to keep possession turnover on downs will accrue in tournament play. Nose guards are in full effect, but must be in 3-point or 4-point stance. NO BLITZING (REFEREE DISCRETION): All Lineman from tackle to tackle must be in a 3 or 4 point stance. Linebackers must be lined up at least 2 yards from the point of the football. Crossing this barrier before the ball is snapped will result in a 5yd penalty. Delay of game Coach: Only 1 coach from each team can be on the field during the game. Coaches cannot make adjustments with their players after the QB engages with the center. All Coaches must be 7 yards behind the play.

Player CertificationEach team will complete a certified roster to the BRICKHOUSE CLASSIC at the official registration. After the roster is turned in the team is restricted to the players submitted. Registration will begin 1.0 hour before the team’s first game unless previous arrangements are made. Players must have game jerseys at the time of registration.

Restricted PlayersAll coaches are welcome to attend the registrations to ensure player eligibility. All certified rosters will be available to all head coaches upon request. At registration each player must present a copy of their birth certificate and 1st qtr report card. A current League ID will be sufficient as long as the league in which the team played is sanctioned by a sports association.

EquipmentHelmet, shoulder pads, pants with 7-piece pad set. Metal cleats are prohibited. Upon completion of each game teams will shake hands in fellowship displaying good sportsmanship. Any player or coach not willing to do so will be excluded from championship play and will be asked not to come back!

Game ProcedureThe “Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA)” rulebook, as used in the State of Florida, will govern play in the BRICKHOUSE CLASSIC. Modified rules will be added in each age division. FHSAA licensed officials will be assigned to each game in the tournament. Teams must be at their designated field at least 30 minutes before their scheduled playing time. Any team that shows up late will forfeit all rights to play in a Championship game. The home team must furnish 3 people for the chains and down markers. Only the head coach can confer with game officials during the game being played. No more than 5 coaches allowed on the sideline at any given time. NO TOLERANCE - ALL TEAM MEMBERS, SPECTATORS, AND MEDIA MUST OPERATE OR CHEER ON THEIR OWN SIDELINE! ANY DISCRETION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A "GAME OVER" AND A FORFEIT OR DISMISSAL WILL BE REVIEWED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.

ScoringScoring Rules will apply to ALL age divisions. - Touchdown = 6 Points - Extra point From the 3-yard line = 1 Point (EP Kick included) From the 10-yard line = 2 Points (EP Kick Included) - Defensive Safeties = 2 Points - Field Goals (where available) = 3 Point

KickingKicking Game Rules will apply to ALL age divisions. - No Kickoff or Kickoff Return ball will be spotted at the 25 yard line to start opening drive. (Start of each half or after a touchdown.) Punt: - Teams have option to run a play or there will be a 25yd assessment with a 20 second clock runoff. - If you choose to punt inside opponents 40yd line, then it is half the distance to the goal. - If punting inside of 2 minutes of each half, there will be no clock runoff. Field Goals: - No rush kicks for 6U & 8U! - Live rush kicks for 10U, 12U and 14U

EjectionsAny player suspended from game of play will be suspended for 4 quarters of tournament play. (i.e. if a player is ejected from a game in the 2nd quarter, the suspension will begin in the 3rd quarter & continue to the 4th quarter and into the next two quarters of the next game.) If a spectator is ejected, the individual must leave the game field and may return after tournament officials’ investigation. If a coach is ejected, the coach must leave the field of play and may not return until the next game.

OvertimeIn the event of a tie ball game at the end of regulation play each team will have an opportunity for one possession from the 3-yard line for 1 point or the 10-yard line for 2 points. This will take place until the winner is determined.

ChampionshipsChampionship games are held on Saturday of the tournament at Fort Walton Beach High School. All teams must register 1 hour before the game. Teams registration rosters will be checked. Championship overtime will be conducted in the same manner as tournament play. Championship games will be followed by a trophy presentation and both teams must be present. The champions will celebrate and the runner-up will be acknowledged as we share this time in respect to our fellow competitors.
